BOXES
It began with a small puzzle box from Japan, a gift wrapped in its own wooden paper. The box was covered in geometric patterns, made from slivers of colorful wood, shaved thin and applied decoratively to the box using a thousand year old technique. Opening the box would require the unexpected - secret sliding movements hidden in the panels - and that surprising secret would open a curious mind.
